Super Moist Chocolate Cake

A delicious and moist chocolate cake, easy to and quick to make.

Ingredients
  

  • 210 gr White Sugar 1 cup
  • 240 ml Vegetable Oil 1 cup
  • 240 ml Milk 1 cup
  • 80 gr Unsweetened Cocoa Powder 3/4 cup
  • 1 tsp Vanilla Extract or Vanilla Sugar
  • A Pinch of Salt
  • 3 Eggs
  • 120 gr All-Purpose Flour 1 cup
  • 1 tbsp Baking Powder
To Moisten the Cake
  • 110 ml Chocolate Milk (Milk and cocoa powder) 1/2 cup
  • Or 110 ml Coffee (slightly sweetened or unsweetened) 1/2 cup

Method
 

  1. Mix together milk, oil, vanilla, unsweetened cocoa powder, sugar and the pinch of salt until the mixture thickens.
  2. Remove 1+ 1/2 cup of this chocolate mixture, save it for later.
  3. To the rest of the chocolate sauce, add the eggs, flour, and baking powder.
  4. Pour the batter in a cake tin that is already buttered and floured or lined with parchment paper.
  5. Bake for 30 to 5 min in a 175C / 347F preheated oven.
  6. Once out of the oven, make many small wholes using a toothpick and add coffee or chocolate milk.
  7. Cover the cake with the remaining chocolate sauce you saved at the beginning.
